VSI Sand Making Machine

VSI Sand Making Machine

VSI vertical shaft sand making machine is commonly known as impact crusher or aggregate shaping machine. VSI sand making machine is the fourth generation high-performance sand making machine developed by SBM on the basis of introducing the advanced technology of German sand making machine and combining with the situation of domestic mining industry. Taking the VSI sand making machine as the prototype, Shibang successively launched the upgraded version VSI5X sand making machine and VSI6X sand making machine.

Product Features: Lower maintenance costs, longer service life of vulnerable parts, quicker adjustments

Working Principle of VSI Sand Making Machine

VSI Vertical Shaft Impact Crusher (also known as “Sand Making Machine”) has two feeding methods – “Center Feed” and “Center & Side Feed”. For the former “center feeding” method, the material in the feeding hopper first enters the high-speed spinning rotor through the center hole. In the rotor, the material is fully accelerated, thrown out from the launch port, collides with a part of the material, and falls freely after rebounding. Next, the material hits the surrounding vortex material liner (or impact block) in the vortex chamber together. In the crushing cavity, the material is first bounced back to the top of the crushing cavity, and then moves downward to change direction, forming a material curtain with the material discharged from the impeller runner. Finally, the finished product is discharged from the bottom outlet. For the latter “center & side feed” method, firstly, the material in the feed hopper passes through the round hole. Then, the material is divided into two parts by the distribution plate. Part of the material enters the high-speed rotating impeller, and the other part of the material falls from the four sides of the tray. The materials in the impeller will be accelerated rapidly and thrown out at a high speed, colliding with the materials falling from the four sides of the tray. Next, all the material hits the surrounding vortex material pad (or impact block) in the vortex chamber together. In the crushing cavity, the material is first bounced back to the top of the crushing cavity, and then moves downward to change direction, forming a material curtain with the material discharged from the impeller runner. Finally, the finished product is discharged from the bottom outlet.
